Yasser Badri 12-23-2021 Today, Thursday, His Excellency Dr. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, left Cairo at the head of a delegation of senior officials of the ministry, heading to the city of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, to attend a number of Arab and international meetings, headed by the meeting of the "41" session of the Council of Arab Social Affairs, where Al -Kabbaj participates as a permanent member of the Council of Arab Affairs Ministers. The Minister of Social Solidarity emphasized that the Arab ministers will discuss in this meeting a number of priority files for the joint Arab development social work, in the forefront of which is the preparation for the upcoming Arab summit and the cooperation files they will address related to the promotion of social protection networks, and the support of Arab efforts to implement the sustainable development goals for the year 2030, especially with regard to persons with disabilities and the elderly, as well as issues related to family protection and childhood. Al-Kabbaj added that it was agreed to host the Arab Republic of Egypt to the conference "Implementing the Arab Strategy for Voluntary Work 2020-2030" in March 2022, in addition to holding an Arab symposium on the rapid response ways to relief and protect people with disabilities in crises and disasters. The Minister of Social Solidarity is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with Arab ministers concerned with human and social development files, as well as a special meeting with representatives of the United Nations specialized organizations participating in the meetings in order to discuss the files of cooperation between Egypt and those international organizations. The meetings of the ministers of social affairs precede the conference of the conference, which is the first of its kind in the Arab region, which is the conference of Arab Social Affairs Ministers and the executive offices of Arab ministerial councils concerned with social sectors, along with the ministers concerned with Arab youth and sports affairs, the Arab Council for Health and Development, and the UNESCO Program for the Department of Social Transformations of Arab Social Affairs under the title "Various effects Coffee's Combin-19 For the Arab region and support weak and fragile groups in epidemics and crises.
